Fish and Chip Run  May, 2013

The 13th Annual Fish 'n Chip Run took place on Sunday 26th May with 17 members in seven cars (2 Jupiters, 2 Javelins, 1 Bradford, 2 other cars).
The weather started fine, but there were showers along the way.  However, everyone arrived safely at the Bay View Hotel in Kaiaua.
There were 18 questions to be answered along the way, plus a bonus of 2 points for everyone driving Jowetts.
The questions were all in verse, like the following:

No horse and hounds run in pursuit,

But hunters bold will seek and shoot.

No ducks will fly, no piggies grunt,

In the ...................................

(The correct answer here, that is, the missing words to complete the rhyme, were "Paparimu Possum Hunt").
There was a tie for first place between Bunty & Tam and Bruce and Sherril, both on 15 points,
and luckily there were two chocolate fish, so each winning team got one.
The participants were Bunty Condon and friend Tam, the Macfarlanes, the Brownlies, the Godferys,
the Wolfs, the Hartmans, and Alex Davidson was present as organiser.

Passenger had to stop the ring beeping on the wire. Judder bars worked well with good soft springs!

Just can't resist a look
