The Northern Branch of the Jowett Car Club of New Zealand is a friendly group whose interests are centred around Jowett vehicles. We invite interested persons to join. You don't have to have a Jowett, we can soon find one for you! You'll find it relatively inexpensive for such an interesting classic vehicle. The club has a full supply of New and 2nd Hand Parts, and members are very helpful with restoration assistance and advice.

Enquiries about Northern Branch and Activities:
If you are interested in getting to meet the members, or learn about or see Jowetts come along to the weekly 'Shed Night', or would like to join us on a club run or event Please use the email link below
Throughout the year we also have several 'non official' events and get togethers, ranging from helping members get 'wrecks' home, to impromptu club displays at vintage steam shows and other classic car club shows

Meremere Dragstrip 7am Registration for those using the track 7:30am  20th Oct 2019

Flat Nats is a national gathering of Subaru’s and this year they are making it a celebration of the boxer/flat engine.  How can such an event not have Jowetts present and indeed we are planning on attending and having our display engines on display. VW and Porsche etc that have flat engines have also been invited
This is the day we will focus on.  It will start with anyone driving a flat engine car can get out on the track for low speed laps while the media take pics and video of the cars. There is a gold coin donation per person and passengers are allowed and no special safety gear is required for this cruise around.
After this the cars will park up and we will have our display stuff on show. Their pre event notice says “the Jowett Club and other flat engine Clubs will have a line up of their cars.  There was genuine interest when it was announced Jowett was going to be there”.
So lets make it a good line up of out Jowetts
If anyone was keen there are 2 speed events which you can enter.  On Saturday there are actual track sessions where you can join a group suitable for your car and rotate around the track for 20 minute sessions throughout the day.  Cost is $180 and a helmet and cotton overalls or a race suit are required.  And on Sunday you can put your car on the Meremere dragstrip at a closed event for flat engine cars . Anyone interested in these 2 speed events contact Alan over the next couple of weeks for the details of events
